Brazil Trip Diary: Day 15
Not much happened today. We went to an island about an hour from Rio. We boarded a faux sailboat. Locals playing samba on board got me into playing drum with them. I have a terrible sense of rhythm so I didn’t really enjoy the experience. I have to be thankful for many things I can do. But if there is one more thing I like to have, it is the ability to sing and dance.
It is a rainy-misty day so we did not see much. We had buffet lunch again.
Did some shopping in the storied Ipanema district. We went into couple of boutique shops and found some beautiful items, particularly those colorful ones. To me, that is so Brazil.
