Retired Husband Syndrome
Just read this interesting article on Washingtonpost.com.
The article is about how some retiring Japanese husbands are causing physical and psychological ailment to their spouses. It seems to suggest that the Japanese family relation equilibrium is fragile: lack of family content, more like division of labor, hierarchical between the two—definitely not going to work out when spouses have spend fulltime together after retirement.
