Florence Day 1 & 2
We visited Pitti Palace in the afternoon. It is full of Medici collections, 20+ rooms full of paintings,mostly portraits. The gallery is nicely decorated. The Spirito church we visited was not impressive.
The most enjoyable part is crossing the Arno river, wondering around the bridges in the sunset.
The weather is nice, there are lots of fellow tourists. I really liked the ice-cream.
The Uffizi plaza was full of street artists, drawing portraits and caricatures for the travellers, the lines were extremely long for visting the gallery. We made reservation to on Sept 10.
